Robert Forster (born July 13, 1941 in Rochester, New York) is an American actor.

He starred in the critically acclaimed 1969 film Medium Cool, but thenceforth played mostly supporting roles around action & horror films including Disney's A Black Hole. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1997 for Jackie Brown, which he credits with reviving his career. He has since never agaaround in to come out in Such as Microphone & Mulholland Drive.
